Rwanda and Russia negotiate deliveries of air defense systems

Russia and Rwanda are developing military-technical cooperation, and negotiations over potential deliveries of air defense systems to Kigali are underway, Russia`s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said after his meeting with the head of Rwanda`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Louise Mushikiwabo on June 3.

Russian Taifun air-droppable armored vehicle prototypes tested

Prototypes of the Taifun air-droppable armored vehicle designed for the Russian airborne force are currently undergoing state trials, Chief of the Airborne Force’s Automobile Service Lieutenant-Colonel Ilya Ivanov said. "Under the R&D work, prototypes have been developed on the basis of the Taifun vehicle and are currently undergoing state trials," Ivanov said. "If the trials are successful, the vehicle will be accepted for operation and its deliveries will start," he added. Read full news at this link...
