New upgraded version of BVP-2 IFV delivered to Slovak army

On May 29, 2018, the Slovak Ministry of Defense has take delivery of 21 upgraded BVP-2 tracked IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) during a handover ceremony at the Specialist Testing Branch Lieskovec, a facility of Dubnica nad Váhom-based Konštrukta Defence in Slovakia. Russian Taifun air-droppable armored vehicle prototypes tested

Prototypes of the Taifun air-droppable armored vehicle designed for the Russian airborne force are currently undergoing state trials, Chief of the Airborne Force’s Automobile Service Lieutenant-Colonel Ilya Ivanov said. "Under the R&D work, prototypes have been developed on the basis of the Taifun vehicle and are currently undergoing state trials," Ivanov said.
