Oshkosh awarded recapitalization contract of HEMTT

Oshkosh Defense, LLC, an Oshkosh Corporation company, announced yesterday that it has been awarded two delivery orders, totaling $235.2 million, from the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) to recapitalize vehicles in the Army’s Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks (HEMTT) and Palletized Load System (PLS) fleets. Russian Taifun air-droppable armored vehicle prototypes tested

Prototypes of the Taifun air-droppable armored vehicle designed for the Russian airborne force are currently undergoing state trials, Chief of the Airborne Force’s Automobile Service Lieutenant-Colonel Ilya Ivanov said. "Under the R&D work, prototypes have been developed on the basis of the Taifun vehicle and are currently undergoing state trials," Ivanov said.
