BANG, a system of personalized earplugs for optimized hearing protection is on display at the Eurosatory with the French Armed Forces

How to allow the soldier to stay alert and connected to his radio while protecting him from harmful noises? The solution is called BANG, an innovation developed by the French-German Research Institute of St. Louis (ISL) in partnership with the SME Cotral. It is supported by the French Defence Procurement Agency (Direction générale de l’armement - DGA). It has just been successfully tested by Army experts. FASTGENE II, the world's fastest pathogen detector unveiled by the French Defence Procurement Agency

Eurosatory 2018: US Army orders WEW Hippo container systems

WEW, a THIELMANN company, has signed a $27.5 million contract to supply new Hippo water container systems to the US Army, the company announced at Eurosatory 2018.  The company will supply 241 units under the contract, with delivery to begin within three months. All units will be delivered within 12 months of the contract signing. At full rate production the WEW Weitefeld facility will produce one unit per day.
